Target Laboratory Systems Proficiency Testing Scheme for Pharmaceuticals enables participating laboratories to compare their performance with other peers in the field through a worldwide acceptable statistical quality assurance tool.
This scheme is repeated in two rounds every year. Each round includes submission of one sample to be analyzed for four parameters. Each sample is accompanied by a dispatch letter including any particular analysis instructions and results sheet for the results submission. The laboratories should use their normal procedures unless otherwise instructed. Test material varies in every round to allow representation of different products and different laboratories scopes.
